The Youth Empowerment Scheme.
This is a project aimed at training and mentoring youths in communities where NLNG has facilities in different sustainable vocations. Reformed in 2014 to involve job skills that enabled beneficiaries to compete for a job anywhere in the world.
Rice out-growers’ scheme.
Dangote Rice Limited (DRL) is engaged in empowering the rice farmers in Nigeria, for a sustainable farming model, thereby increasing their productivity in terms of quantity and quality. Also, the key driver is to ensure Nigeria in the mid-term is self-sufficient in rice production. They are deliberately adopting a business model that reduces Nigeria's import dependency and enhancing food sufficiency, in line with their goal of combating hunger, malnutrition and diseases.
The Safe Birth Initiatives
The Safe Birth Initiative is a maternal and neonatal healthcare intervention programme developed as a Coca-Cola West Africa Business Unit regional initiative to support national efforts at reducing the very high maternal and newborn mortality rates which is a priority target of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Lafarge National Literacy Competition
This project was launched to complement the Nigerian government’s efforts to improve education at the primary level.
Nigeria Bottling Company
The ENGINE project is an empowerment program aimed at empowering women with entrepreneurial and managerial skills, funding them afterwards to start their own businesses.
Bonny water project
The Bonny Water project was conceived to improve the supply and quality of potable water to residents of Bonny Island.
Geocycle – Alternate energy project
This is an initiatives done to reduce carbon emission by using agricultural and industrial water to generate energy in its operations.
Agbami Chest Clinic
Agbami Chest Clinics are built in existing government hospitals supplying critical equipment such as the Gene Xpert Machine and X-Ray Machine.
De-Rabacon plastic project
De-Rabacon, a brainchild of SCiN Live-Wire is a social enterprise that recycles end-consumer plastics into viable commercial products such as interlocking tiles, buckets and bowls.
